“QMA designed our lake house. Darrell met with us initially to hear our priorities and ideas. He asked great questions, offered workable solutions and material suggestions to help us define our personalized style. He worked through just a couple of revisions with us and the result was a perfect design. One of our priorities was to take advantage of the great lake view of our property. This was accomplished beautifully with a lake view from every room. Darrell then provided detailed drawings within a few weeks allowing our contractor to catch the vision and complete the project. We are 100% pleased. We love our new place and love sharing it with our family and friends. Thank you Darrell!”

“I am homeowner in an historic preservation district in Oklahoma City. My home is designed in the Prairie School of Architecture and therefore I wanted to work with an architect for a complete interior renovation who would honor the integrity of the original design and also let the space reflect both modernity and sustainability. After interviewing several local architects, I landed on TASK design and Ken Fitzimmons - and have never looked back. I have now lived in the renovated space he designed for more than 5 years and honestly everyday, I fall in love with it all over again. From 30,000 feet, Ken designed the space to be vibrant, lively and also sustainable. Where possible (given the limitations in an historic preservation district) he selected sustainable materials, added elements to make the house more energy efficient and also recycled the materials that were removed during the demolition phase. Aesthetically, there are many clever design elements he conceived that add to the joy of living in this house everyday. It's as if he left a subtle exclamation point in every room! My desire from the outset was to make the space very livable, pleasurable and age friendly for a long time. I'm happy to report - Mission Accomplished! Thanks to Ken and TASK design, I live in a home that is filled with good energy, is efficient, enjoyable, soulful - AND, according to my family, friends and repair people who've been in the house, it's super cool. I highly recommend TASK design, Ken's aesthetic, his integrity and work ethic.”
