Causer+Lai is a surface design studio formed by Alison Causer and Benjamin Lai in Brooklyn, New York. Working as a team of Designer and Master Painter, we create unique and exclusive, decorative finishes for a variety of surfaces within private residences and commercial interiors. Merging these two perspectives allows Causer + Lai to focus our design details and high-quality applications to set your interior apart from the rest. Causer+Lai focuses on reviving the aesthetic value of surface design lost in many modern interiors today. We sample a multitude of influences and design eras to create the best solution for each design challenge and find inspiration from every corner of the world.
