About Us

My name is Niall Carr, I have been a painter & decorator/re-finisher for 20 years. I was trained in Ireland as a City & Guilds certified professional. I've started Clover's Restorations after seeing the amount of beautiful old furniture and unique objects that are being thrown away. I have the skill & experience in making old things new again & I enjoy the transformation, as do my clients! I restore everything from lighting to bicycles to furniture. I sell from a shop in my home, and through my website. At the home shop, customers can come & check out furniture that has already been restored, or they can choose a piece that has not yet been refinished & choose a style & finish to their liking. I also get customers who bring me their own pieces for me to restore for them. Reduce, Reuse, Upcycle

Niall painted and wallpapered my office. My husband and I were thrilled with the results. I found him to be very knowledgable, personable and professional as well as meticulous. Niall managed to fit my project into his busy schedule and finished when he said he would. I hope to have him back to do another project for me in the near future.

Absolutely fantastic. With very little explanation of what I was looking for, Niall built me an incredible wine rack out of reclaimed wood. Naill redid my buffet and hutch that just screamed 80's. It was functional and solid maple so I didn't want to just get rid of it. Clover's did a wonderful job, the painting is perfect and removing the cabinet doors turned it into a whole new piece. He obviously is a craftsman who deeply cares about his work.

I am so pleased to give a great review to Clover's Restorations (Niall). I picked up 2 bedroom night tables that were horrible with the thoughts of re-finishing them myself. I should of known that I would never do that! I gave them to Niall and gave him carte blanche to do with them as he pleased with the only exception being that they match my wall and duvet colors. What came back to me was so much more than what I expected and nothing like what I expected. They matched my room perfectly and were very well done! I would fully trust him to create anything for my house! Thank you!!!!

Working with Niall was a great experience! He has wonderful ideas and refinished my dresser beautifully! So happy with the end product. Would definitely recommend and will be having more pieces refinished by him in the near future.

Niall from Clover's Restorations was excellent to work with! He recently refinished and repaired a 2 drawer dresser which originally was in very rough shape. He did the required repairs and repainted in a rustic finish which was exactly what I wanted and I went with his suggestion to keep the original hardware which he made look brand new! From the initial consultation to the final result I was very impressed. It was a quick turn around time and the final product was exactly as I had envisioned. I will definitely work with Clover's Restorations again!

Beautiful work! I gave Niall minimal direction for the bureau we wanted for my sons room. Was more then impressed with the transformation. Highly recommend.
