Because it takes only TWO STEPS: attach small rails on the perimeter of the room and stretch the material only in few hours. IN STEAD OF making asbestos test, removing furniture, covering floor and walls with plastic, scrapping the popcorn off, breathing and being covering in dust, applying joint compound, primer, paint, cleaning, etc. But all that work does not guaranty that you will see straight, smooth, leveled ceiling.
