About Us

In 1998, I left my 10-year career as a screen printer and began a new career in painting. I started out primarily painting exterior and interior on new construction then moved on to repaints and remodels. I (re)finish trim, cabinetry and decks. As well as, repair wood rot and drywall. In addition, I have painted the occasional horse trailer. Basically, if it holds still long enough, I can paint it. My years of painting as well as screen printing has given me an eye for color, so I am able to provide design assistance too. Power wash, scrape / base coat, caulk, repair facia boards, paint 2 coats, large cedar siding home, great care taken to prevent damage during power washing / lots of had scrape required / excellent work - would use again in a second.

Craig Hill Painting did a masterful prepping and painting the space we designed as a room makeover for a national television show. They stayed for 12 straight hours to get the job done and, frankly, provided one of the best paint jobs we've ever seen. There was not a drip or smudge anywhere, the lines were perfect and the high gloss sheen totally even. I can't say enough about how much my team and I appreciated their timeliness, high quality work and terrific follow-up.

Craig and Jenn were amazing! They worked, round the clock, on a very tight installation schedule! The color We selected was a very dark grey, in a gloss finish. The paint has a tendency to sag and required three coats. They did a wonderful job and were extremely professional in circling back with us to see if everything was to our satisfaction. We're a design firm and we have worked with some of the best in the business. If you have a need for a painter in the Kansas City area these guys are tops! We highly recommend!

I hired Craig Hill Painting to paint the exterior of my house. I was impressed with the detailed job that was done. They caulked, filled nail holes, pounded in nails, rolled and brushed using a high quality paint, and finished the job in a very timely manner. We do not have a single complaint and our house looks great! We are recommending Craig Hill Painting to everyone we Know!

I had purchased a house with a sun yellow bathroom and a teal bedroom. The sun yellow had to go, way to bright in the morning. My son didn't care much for the teal bedroom. They painted both rooms, trimmed them out and cleaned up in about 5 hours. They were very respectful of my time and schedule. He came over in the evening to bid the job and for me to pick out the color of paint I was wanting. They did an amazing job. There was nothing for me to do. I will use them again on my next paint job. Less stress and hassle than doing it yourself.

After receiving a fair bid and consultation from the company, I hired them to paint our living room and family room. They were very professional. Started on time, did a wonderful job on the painting and did not make a mess. They cleaned up after themselves and left everything in great shape. I would and have recommended them to neighbors, who in turn used them and were very pleased as well.
