“Ken McGrath and his team completely remodeled one bathroom for me and did such a great job that I hired him to redo my master bath as well! Both bathrooms were completely gutted and rebuilt. Ken is so easy going and great to work with. He has a good design sense too. I was struggling with how I wanted to tile my shower and he made suggestions that turned out beautiful! There are a lot of decisions that have to be made in a complete redesign and Ken helped through the entire process. Ken pays a lot of attention to all details and it shows in the end product. He re-textured my entire bathroom ceiling and walls rather than patch up old texture and it came out beautiful -- it really modernized the bathroom. Ken always lets me know what time he plans to show up and has not been late once! He and his crew work very efficiently and I don't see them wasting any time. Ken also quoted me a very fair price. He is there every day doing the work alongside his crew. I was also impressed with all his crew members -- they are all very nice, professional, and easy to work with. I will continue to use Ken McGrath Construction in my future projects!”

“I engaged House on the hill Construction to build a world class Lash Studio called Dekalash in Castro Valley (salon) and I am so happy . Not only the work was done beyond my expectation , the team took care of all the coordination with all the parties .. I never had to visit the site and my staff love the beautiful studio. They are always accessible , kept me informed of all the progress and I don't have words. I have already referred them to my fellow franchise and they are my future construction partners . You are always welcome to take a tour of their work at Dekalash Castro Valley and you will know what I am talking about . Besides construction, the team also did all the assembly of furnitures , pictures etc etc I am recommend with highest possible recommendation .”

Leslie walked us through every step with professionalism and creativity. She made suggestions when we asked and paid attention to what we liked. When we changed our minds last minute, she gladly worked out the change to our liking! People come into our home weekly and comment on how beautiful and how inviting and comfortable it feels...that's exactly what we were going for! “We have used Tom to do a number of remodel and construction jobs for us over the years. He worked on our present home to correct the wiring (it's amazing the house had not burned down!), put in an additional closet, changed the lighting in the kitchen and much more before we moved in. He brought our master bath design to completion that included having to lower the drain for the shower so we could have a linear drain, relocate plumbing lines no longer needed with the removal of the tub, installed the new cabinets, did all the tile work, and kept the site clean each day before he left. We have always depended on him to do it all and do it well! When we had a plumbing leak in our rental he was there to put the foundation back, do the needed sheet rocking, painting and tile work so it looks like it never happened. We know when we call him, his prices will be fair and he shows up as agreed- two really big things to consider when hiring a contractor!”
