“Our experience with Las Aguilas Contracting was a bit unusual, because we had a fairly standard bath converted into a specialty one for a recovering invalid. These folks extended every courtesy for my husband, who had neck surgery. They waited to start full remodeling until all the special equipment was available, allowing full access to the toilet and vanity every night, while converting the bath area into a walk-in shower with fold down bench. A riser for the commode was located, and a vanity with special plumbing, Finally, non-slide tiles were installed across the room. They did a fantastic job--their workmen often working on the week-end, on budget. We will use them again on our next remodeling project.”

You helped us update our ugly, non-functional basement into something that we could be proud of by turning it into a space where we could have room for guests, an office for my husband, a work-out area, a media room, an updated bathroom, a computer area and extra storage for my teenage son, an art space for my teenage daughter, a kitchenette for morning coffee and parties, floor to ceiling pantry cabinets for extra storage, a hearth area that is Pinterest worthy and all within budget and on my timeline. My shower looks absolutely beautiful and the custom niche they created is one of the best I've ever seen. Something I particularly appreciated about you was your communication. You always answered the phone when I called and returned texts promptly. Additionally, you checked in frequently to let me know your timeline and let me know if you were ever running late. I would use Apex Homes and your team for jobs in the future. Not only that, I would recommend you to friends and family. Two contractors actually tried to make me believe I had to tear down the entire basement in order to get permits. My family does electrical contracting...I know this is not true. As a single woman, I found many contractors tried to use this to their advantage. I have some knowledge and have read many articles, especially ones on the Houzz site.
