“We decided to have our basement waterproofed, with plans to finish the basement down the road. The salesmen were very nice - but did over- exaggerate a bit with the selling aspect of the job (which we didn't know until the Foreman and their crew came and told us what they would be doing). There were a few "hiccups" at first - I had some freshly planted baby flowers - one was stepped on a bit before being able to have them all covered - but it should still hopefully bloom next year. The dirt that was put back was not "tamped" down very well at first (we had a 2 foot mound all the way around the house - not attractive at all!) - and we were told by the salesmen that the house would look "as if they were never even their". The foremen was extremely understanding, and had the crew re-do the dirt along the house so that it really doesn't look like they were there! The only other concern was the time the cement takes to cure in the basement - the salesman told us it would take 30 days - but the foreman and his supervisor said that it takes 6-8 weeks before it is cured and you can put porous materials on it. Of course, there is nothing that OSW can do about concrete curing, but I do wish that the Salesman was more knowledgable about the whole process he is selling. All and all - by the end of the day, I am very happy with OSW and the crew that worked on my house. We have had quite a bit of rain since they finished, and no leaking!! I would recommend to any one who needs their basement waterproofed.”
