“We decided to renovate and upgrade our 1825 sg. Ft. home in January 2020. I was familiar with Bluebird Home Improvements as we attend the same church as Matt Teisort, the owner. Matt was very attentive to the changes we were interested in and also suggested several ideas to improve the renovation. He suggested adding an additional matching window in the den and opening up the kitchen to the den and breakfast room. He assisted us in making arrangements for custom made cabinets for the kitchen. We selected style, color and special features for the cabinets. He also made the arrangements for us to select new granite counter tops. We were very satisfied with the quality of the work. This project was began shortly before the Covid Pandemic started which affected the time table of the project. Supply problems due to pandemic greatly affected the delivery date of the cabinets. Three cabinets were damaged and had to be re-manufactured which caused an additional delay of 6- 7 weeks. These problems were not the fault of the contractor. It was just not the best time to start a renovation project. The most important point is we were very satisfied with the quality of the work and the completed project exceeded our expectations. I have since recommended Matt to several people and they were pleased with the work of Bluebird Home Improvements. This project was mainly renovating and upgrading the kitchen and den. This includes all new kitchen appliances, new overhead recessed lighting and new cabinet countertop lighting. New flooring was installed in den, kitchen and breakfast room. The entire house was repainted and new lighting fixtures added, safety upgrades in bathrooms and overhead fans installed in den and bedrooms. The hardwood floors were refinished in the dining room and living room to match the other hardwood floors throughout the house. Thanks to Matt, we got what we wanted and would definitely recommend his services.”
