“We hired Garrett, owner of Old Market Forge, last fall to create some new hand rails for our outdated 80's style home that was being remodeled. We were so pleased we continued into the kitchen, where he forged some custom shelf brackets out of heavy iron. Our biggest project was a custom table, 8 1/2 feet, using reclaimed barn wood and a heavy iron base. It is a show stopper. When we have guests over now, they notice the table right away, then the cool shelves, and then the hand rails. Garrett's prices are very reasonable, plus he meets with you and sketches off your ideas first. “Our project turned out to be better than we could have imagined! We redesigned our den to include a custom built in entertainment center, with a space for a large built in TV on top of a new fireplace we had just installed. I am not very good at explaining what I want so George told us to go to the Houzz site and print out some pictures of what we wanted. I found the perfect traditional style with a custom fireplace mantel, shelving and cabinetry. Thinking that I probably would not get exactly the same as the picture, I was floored that it is exactly the same! We admire our new den every day. We had a Superbowl party with our new den and a brand new 65 inch TV with the fireplace roaring! I will be inviting George back to redo my staircase railing and maybe in another built in for my living room!
