“I have had the pleasure of working with Claus for the last few years. We met while I was searching for someone who could build a cantilevered wood stair with a glass railing. Claus was professional and provided great feedback to ensure that the stairs, which were built in Germany came to the site and fit perfectly within the existing building. These stairs were 4 floors high, and were for two slightly different townhomes. Claus was also able to provide custom cabinetry and panelling under the stairs to create a powder room and storage. These are top of the line custom stairs that were prefabricated and installed without further finishing on site required. I would highly recomment Dream Stairs and Railings for any custom job.”

“I am one of the principal owners of a busy renovation company based in Toronto. I've been working with R and A stairs for over 6 years. On one recent project we ordered 3 sets of very wide saw tooth, rift white oak stairs with concealed stringers. Very modern and very heavy. It took the installers over 12 hours to manoeuvre and fit these stairs. They are perfect and the client is ecstatic. From fabrication to installation R and A stairs have the experience and the know how to provide their customers with excellent quality. They are reliable and I like that the owner Rick is the one measuring and the main contact for questions and concerns. All of our projects are tricky due to the nature of the older housing stock in Toronto and R and A is always able to figure it out and provide great quality stairs and railings. I would never look anywhere else.”

We wanted our front entryway to have a wow factor and this was achieved with substantial looking newel posts, banister and a combination of wrought iron spindles on the lower staircase and glass panels on the second floor landing. “I received a quote from Grant at Royal Oak Railing and Stair. He is pleasant and very professional. Grant also sent me pictures of his company's previous job which was exactly what I was looking for, a open riser staircase with a wood & glass railing plus new wood basement stairs. I would of had the job done yesterday but I'm still looking for a contractor to do some drywall patchwork to accommodate the new stairs and to remove my old staircases. I'm hoping to get it done by March/2014.
Also Royal Oak Railing and Stairs was referred to me by Douglas Design Studios in Toronto free of charge.
Update 08/2014-The stairs are in & they look fantastic!!!!!!! Grant & his team from Royal Oak Railing & Stairs delivered exactly the look we were going for.”

“We worked with the teams from Berman Stairs and Dubebldam Architecture + Design to produce a stunning central stair for our 3 storey commercial building. The stair features a Baltic birch plywood that serves as the guard, handrail and stringer. The underside of the treads and risers were left exposed and painted in bright fun colours to represent the creativity that happens in the building. The stair is one of the most noticed and commented features of our building and we could not have been happier with either the service or the final product.”
