Stay away. I wanted a pavillion abd pergola built. Estimate 21k. They wanted 7,000 down. Gave them my check and that was it. No more contact. They just took my money and ran.

Our experience was a nightmare. The project should have taken 4 days but actually lasted 4 months! The contractor sent a variety of crews. The first crew demo'd the old shower stall. The second crew fixed the mistakes of the first crew's mess. The crew installed the tile fine, but the grout job had to be redone twice. For each appointed time, the crew arrived late or didn't show at all. Another contractor evaluated our shower and he said it looks like the work of an amateur. We are filing a complaint with the Oregon CCB against Prestige. Look elsewhere, do NOT hire Prestige!!

Stay away from Prestige Design. Absolutely terrible communication, crew cleanup is lacking, and they sub out all work. Considering the amount of money I spent and my project is still going on 8 months with a few small items to be completed, I could have managed this work better than Prestige Design. Don't trust any of their salesmen, make it easy on yourself, just go to a different company. I could go on and on about everything they do wrong. If for some reason you do go with them.....I told you so.

Prestige Design took a $2500 deposit just to get a quote for service. I was promised I would have the results in 1-2 weeks. It is now 7 weeks later as of writing this. The window of time I had to do the actual work is now closed, and I STILL DON'T EVEN HAVE A QUOTE. They dodged my calls over the course of two weeks the last time I asked for an update (the excuse was "family issues"). I had to send a physical letter threatening a complaint to the certification board before they finally responded. They are now telling me it will be 1 or 2 weeks more before I get a quote. I requested to get my money back as they didn't complete the contract in the time promised and they refused, claiming they already paid the engineer. Prestige Design is fine for small odd jobs. I've had them do other projects in the past. For big jobs they simply do not know what they are doing and they make their customers pay while they take their time figuring it out. Getting a quote should not be this difficult for a job under $30,000.

Prestige Design replaced our damaged slate entryway with new colored pavers. We are very pleased with the design and color of the pavers which add visual improvement to our home. The project was completed on time and the staff was courteous and efficient. A future project we are considering is to replace the driveway using the same pavers. Prestige Design will be the first people we call when that time comes.

I hired Prestige Design this spring to do a major drainage project in my yard after heavy winter rains caused washouts in my yard. I also had them install pavers on what was a gravel driveway. I am very pleased with the finished project. The president of the company Doug Doering worked on the project proposal and bid himself. I found him to be very professional and knowledgeable about drainage issues. The rest of the team who worked with me on this project also did a fine job. My home/yard is much better prepared to handle the rain and storms this coming fall. The paving part of the project went well and many neighbors have complimented me on the new driveway and the improvement it has made to my property. I would recommend this company.

Our experience with Prestige Designs was not of being pushed nor bullied into something we did not need nor want. We were being assisted. The result was a disastrous bathroom with dry and wet rot from a leak behind the tub into a beautiful bathroom. Even when the job was more complex than anticipated and took longer than hoped, still, they never went back on the contract nor told us we would need to pay more. They worked with us through some incorrect purchases for the replacement of the vanity, and helped us with how to make better choices. They were kind, faithful, full of integrity and communicative. We were impressed with the men sent to do the work -- they treated our home with care, checked in to let us know their schedules, communicated about delays in the job and what they were encountering. These men, Aaron Baker and Bob and others whose names I don’t know, were willing to go the distance to do the job well and thoroughly. They were careful in the home, covering the carpets with cardboard, and doing thorough clean up. The end result was a disaster turned beautiful asset in our home. We were and are blessed to have worked with them all! Brian and Karen Shimer

I would like to thank the entire Prestige Design & General Contracting, Inc. team for transforming my lack-luster kitchen into my dream kitchen. From the first contact to the completion of the job, the staff were a wonderful source of experience in design and construction. The project consisted of removing the white tile countertop and installing granite. A new stainless steel double sink and impressive faucet added the finishing touches. The kitchen now compliments the adjacent family room. Their company provided professional assistance in all phases: design recommendations, the construction crew, and the plumbing. They made it so easy because I had only one person to contact and they took care of the scheduling. The job was completed on time and within my budget. I highly recommend Prestige Design & General Contacting, Inc., for any exterior or interior projects for your home.

Working with Prestige Design was an excellent experience from start to finish! I hired them last fall to tear out & rebuild a retaining wall and driveway for our historic home. Since I wanted the new driveway to blend in with the existing architecture of our home, I was very happy the sales rep. listened to my wishes and was able to guide me to just the right materials for the job. They were able to schedule the work within a couple weeks and completed the job in less than 3 days. The crew that did the work showed up on time each morning and was very efficient and easy to work with. My husband and I are very pleased with how beautifully it turned out and appreciate how easy Prestige Design made the whole process!

We hired Prestige in November, 2013 to build a 4' tall retaining wall in our sloped backyard to increase the flat area we have behind our home. Today, we have a nice, strong 3’ retaining wall in our backyard and I have no doubt that it will last. The lifetime warranty is what made us decide to use Prestige in the first place. Be aware that communication between their employees and customers is lacking. Not once did ANYONE ever tell us that the footing is included in the height of the wall. Since our hill had very loose dirt they had to do a 1’ gravel footing. Thinking that a 4’ wall was going to be what was on top of the footing, and finding out that is not true, is very disappointing. Had I known that, at least my expectations would have been set properly. Instead I have what I consider to be a 3’ wall and feel like I have been taken advantage of and overcharged in the process. I ended up having to talk with the owner about this miscommunication and how disappointed I was. It seems like their employees are confused and unsure themselves. We received a call late Tuesday afternoon that they wanted to start the next day. I talked with the Construction Manager on Wednesday afternoon and it was decided that we would meet on Thursday morning. I showed him exactly where we wanted the WALL to be on the hill, with him noting that the plants that were there would have to be moved. Some small markers were placed at each end of the desired wall location and work began shortly after our meeting. I came home that night and the beginnings of the wall were not where I told him I wanted it. A flat area for the base of the wall had been built with compacted gravel. The downhill edge of this flat pad was where I wanted the wall but it appeared that the wall was going to be built in the middle of the flat area which was approximately 2 feet closer to the house than we had wanted. I met with the construction manager the next morning to talk about our concerns and he explained that, because of the slope and the fact the dirt was loose and just fill, they had to bring the wall back a little bit closer to the house. I let him know that as long as the bricks were closer to the downhill edge of this flat pad and not the uphill edge, it would be fine. I also let him know that because the wall was going to be built a little closer to the house than we wanted it to be, we wanted to see what a 3' wall would look like. I received a call that afternoon that the team had built a 3' wall. Impressed that it was being built so quickly, I went out to look at it and, as I dreaded, the wall was not close to the downhill edge like I had talked about. So glad that I had let him know that we wanted to see a 3' wall because that was definitely high enough. If it were built any higher it would have been higher than our foundation! It took the team 2 ½ days to do as much of the wall as they could. They had to leave about 1/4 of the capstone bricks undone because they brought the wrong color. They said they would be out Monday or Tuesday to finish. Finally on Wednesday a 3rd party company (NOT Prestige employees) finished the top and all looked great. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t use Prestige for a few reasons: First, the wall was not built where we wanted it. I am told that was due to our soft soil. Second, there was some MAJOR miscommunication from the sales person and construction manager as to what we should expect. I expected a wall made out of brick that could be measured at 4’ high. However, the brick wall is only 3’ high. The owner of the company disagrees and says we did get the 4’ wall (as he includes the 1’ of gravel footing). Third, there were 2 broken bricks that they just let roll down our hill and 2 empty tubes of adhesive that were left in our yard for us to dispose of. When I let the construction manager know about the bricks and pointed them out to him upon his final inspection, he did NOTHING! And that was after I had let him know how disappointed I was with the location and height. If you want a lifetime warranty for any paver work you need done, Prestige will hopefully be the right company for you to use. If you want some clear communication, and work done to your desires, steer clear of this company.
