Air Flo Window Contracting

From my first telephone call to Airflo through the window installation, the scheduling, the service, attention to detail and professionalism of all involved was top notch. We purchased a landmarked limestone last year, and during the process of remodeling we decided we needed to upgrade the windows as the home had poor quality vinyl windows. We researched many brands from cheap to high end hoping to get a good deal and in the process we learned that you get what you pay for in windows. Cutting costs on the windows is NOT where one should do it. That being said, we found Airflo’s prices competitive with the large internet companies but their customer service was outstanding. This is a family business that cares. Gary came out and spent some quality time with us explaining what we needed and what the best approach was. We had 15 windows that needed to be replaced, but have to do it in stages due to budget constraints. There was no "used car salesman" feeling throughout the process. Gary was very knowledgeable and we felt that he had our best interest in mind when proposing options. There were many opportunities for him to “upsell” us, but he actually did the opposite – keeping us from adding unnecessary expense. Our first order consisted of only 3 windows, yet Gary and the team made us feel like our job was just as important as their larger projects. The Airflo team was skilled at handling all of the landmarks permitting and got the approval needed very quickly. When it came time for installation we found the team to be above our expectations in their professionalism, work ethics, timeliness and overall attention to detail. Gary’s son Joe managed the install, and it wasn’t easy as the team had to deal with a rotted out window casing and transom case. It was an unexpected issue and the team had to completely rebuild it. Airflo could have charged us an arm and a leg as we were really in a bind, but they didn’t, they were more than fair. I think customers tend to gravitate towards the monster window companies for their warranty, but I rest easy knowing Airflo would honor their workmanship for any future issues that could possibly arise. Overall, we found working with the team at Airflo to be a great experience and we're already looking forward to the installation of the rest of the windows in the not too far future. If you need windows, do not hesitate to give Gary and Airflo a call!

Air Flo did a first-rate job, at a very reasonable price! It was a tough project in our Brooklyn brownstone. Gary, Joseph, and their team are highly knowledgeable about windows and screens. The job was done on time, at exactly the estimated cost. These are wonderful people doing excellent work. I will definitely be back to them!

I engaged Air Flo to do a muli-window fabrication and installation in a Brownstone in Brooklyn Heights, a landmark neighborhood. Air Flo obtained Landmark's approval in record time and performed the fabrication and installation in timely manner immediately thereafter. The work was impeccable and reasonably priced. There is no other company in the New York City area that could match their performance.

Air Flo Windows put together a truly satisfying combination of replacement and storm windows to fit the rather odd requirements of my century old apartment. The salesman also came up with the idea of putting an air conditioner in a kitchen window and sending the cool air through a duct to cool the living room without putting an air conditioner in its handsome casement windows. And the installers were efficient and friendly. It was a pleasure dealing with the entire organization.

Air Flo Windows and I have been together for a long, long time. They installed the windows in my house almost 30 years ago. That is a lot of cold winters and hot summers. I have found them to be experts in the work they do, courteous and helpful -- and willing to do the little "extra" to make it just right. Excellent, experienced window workshop. They build custom windows of all types from hardwood. Excellent consultation along the way — you're not going it alone. We replaced three windows in a landmark neighborhood (Bklyn Heights). All went well & as planned. Competitive pricing with the monster brands. Personal service — Gary's been in the business a long time and cares about what the client needs and is always in tune with what the shop is doing. The workmen were great. Very cooperative. Will use them again.

Project: Replace 3 large sash windows on landmark building Date: March 2016 Cost: $4700 Review: Excellent customer care, great product and superb team of installers. I never really write reviews but we researched a lot of people and these guys were the most affordable and offered the best all round service. Since we had them installed I have had neighbors come up to me and ask who did them. After they finished the job the clean up was the excellent as was the touch up paint work. The actual windows have cut out a lot of the draughts and the whole front of the house is warmer
