Wine Cellars by Coastal

I am a general contractor in orange county and I work with a lot of individuals on a daily basis for all different types of trades. When it comes to building Wine Cellars, start to finish is the best in the business. I spent weeks interviewing and trying to find someone who could create what I was looking for and nobody could handle the job. I will be using CCWC in the future for any Wine Cellar related builds that I am on. Their craftsmanship and professionalism is unmatched. I received my wine rack yesterday (double-deep, 10-wide). I assembled it in my garage in about 90 minutes. I am very happy with the kit! Great quality, great design, straightforward to assemble.I am retrofitting a wine-cabinet that has metal/wood racks (Vinotemp E) that suffered a sagging collapse. I can’t believe that I was contemplating building racks myself from lumber. I made the right call in buying your product.

I worked with Jerry Wilson from Coastal Custom Wine Cellars on the design and build of our cellar. Jerry is a very experienced designer, who was easy to work with and responsive. Jerry is extremely fair and the quality and design of the cellar exceeded my expectations. After a bad experience with a previous contractor, I contacted Jerry at Coastal Custom Wine Cellars to build a wine cellar in our home. What a difference - from the start Jerry was very responsive even stopping by on the weekends to make sure everything was perfect and to our satisfaction. We showed Jerry a few pictures of what we wanted and boy did he deliver. Would highly recommend him for any wine cellar needs.

Jerry Wilson did a wonderful job designing our 1,400 bottle cellar and overseeing the project. The team installing the cellar, including Kyle Beym and Andres, were also excellent. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Owner and designer Jerry diligently completed the project from start to finish. Most importantly, is that the end result looks like wine rooms you see in some of the finest restaurants. From the wood selections to the lighting, your wine room will be top-notch both in quality and appearance. Our wine room holds 600 bottles and in a room that is 6 x 10. We have a mixture of wood and black stainless steel horizontal racks. Ask Jerry to see photos of the finished product....truly amazing.

My recent purchase from Wine Cellars by Coastal exceeded all expectations. Working with their representative a 11 ft x 11 ft wine cellar was designed with computer-aided software through multiple design iterations, product was ordered and fulfilled exactly as committed. The racking arrived from California to Pennsylvania on three pallets with no damage (packaging was superior). Some assembly required is an understatement but all pieces fit as designed and instruction drawings were easy to follow. The workmanship on this piece of furniture is excellent. I am a very pleased customer who would give Coastal my highest recommendation.

I've always wanted to convert my formal dining room into a sealed wine room and Jerry made that dream come true. He helped that dream come to life with suggestions on the racking design, stain color, seal, lighting and a few other minor details. Jerry was also very communicative and made sure the job was done right. The install was clean and quick. He did not over promise or under deliver. In fact, he over-delivered in the sense that the room came out better that I expected. It's really amazing. I am currently in the process of filling it up with my wine, and when it is all done I will upload pictures to Yelp. We had a few little things to get adjusted at the end, as every custom job requires, and Jerry was detailed in his follow up to make sure the job was done right all the way through which we really appreciated.

Coastal Wine Cellars is awesome! they went above and beyond when it came to customer service and the product quality was great. my wife and I changed our minds more than a few times and Jerry kept helping us create a dream cellar I would use them again in a heart beat.

I recently had Coastal Custom Wine Cellars convert a bathroom into a wine cellar. I could not be happier with the results of the project. From the very first meeting with Jerry, he was nothing but professional and insightful. During the design phase I was provided with detail 3D renderings of the space and commentary on the plans. Jerry provided some great ideas on the design as we revised them. The construction phase also went very smoothly, the contractor that Coastal Custom Wine Cellar uses was also excellent and the workers were very mindful of ensuring the dust and debris was kept to a minimum and contained within the work area. Jerry was involved throughout the process visiting the site numerous times to ensure everything was being done correctly. Jerry also handled all the other aspects of the project (wine rack manufacturer, glass door, cooling unit) and kept me well informed as to the status of production and delivery. The final installation was quick and any minor issues were resolved immediately without question. I have been working with a number of different trade professionals on my home and Jerry/Coastal Custom Wine Cellars was by far the easiest and most professional I dealt with. Having one point of contact throughout the project made the process simple for me and the management of the project from beginning to end was excellent. The resulting product is exactly what I had imagined for my cellar. I would recommend Coastal Custom Wine Cellars to anyone looking to do this type of project.

We just completed a rather extensive renovation on our house which was originally built in the late 70s. The original family room had a wet bar carved into a wall that we decided to convert into a wine room. Jerry Wilson at Coastal Wine Cellars helped us realize our vision. Jerry was our consultant on everything wine room related. We sent over the specs of the room and he quickly returned a detailed design (complete with 3D renderings) that matched our goals and aesthetics. Our contractor consulted with Jerry to learn how to most efficiently and effectively cool and insulate the room. Jerry also helped us to choose the best cooling unit for the room--listing pros and cons of several units. Jerry was also able to connect us with a custom cabinet maker to design a wine rack that would hold large quantities of bottles and also display those special ones. Jerry was indispensable throughout every step of the process. Jerry Wilson at Coastal Wine Cellars was the one stop ultimate resource for us in building our dream wine cellar, but his most impressive quality was his professionalism. He would always return emails and phone calls so quickly and was often times leading us through the process and answering questions before we had them.
