Ready for a less traditional look, the owners requested a twist on the classic black and white bath. By using porcelain encaustic tile, the floor becomes a high impact feature of the space. The shower was enlarged and features dual heads and tumbled subway tile with an organic edge and a Kerdi shower pan. The bathroom features a new walk-in shower where the bathtub used to be, with Duomo Bianchi floor tiles and Zenith Orion subway wall tiles and custom shower doors. The outdoor area features wooden deck floors and accent shower wall, combined with concrete look Bottega Acero tiles. The hanging planters with succulents complete the "urban jungle" look. This gender neutral kid's bath is whimsical take on the a traditional bath. We used subway tiles in vibrant orange, red and yellow in a random pattern.

When I purchased this floating home from my aunt and uncle, I didn’t know about floats and stringers and other issues specific to floating homes.
