Modern loft. Surfaces built into the new railing atop the stair create a functional work area with a fantastic view and clear shot to the play space below. A wall separating the master bedroom from the double height living space was replaced with a folding glass door to open the bedroom to the living space while still allowing for both visual and acoustical privacy.

Having been neglected for nearly 50 years, this home was rescued by new owners who sought to restore the home to its original grandeur. Prominently located on the rocky shoreline, its presence welcomes all who enter into Marblehead from the Boston area. The exterior respects tradition; the interior combines tradition with a sparse respect for proportion, scale and unadorned beauty of space and light.

This is an installation picture of a railing (taken by artists), designed to compliment the homeowners tastes, designed with a splash of Salvador Dali. If you look closely, you can see "melting" sculptural elements within this balustrade, as requested by client.

The baby nursery below now includes transom windows to share light from the open space.

The foyer of this home won 1st place in the Dallas Builders Association ARC awards 2012 for the best foyer. It features a marble tile floor accented by 2 colors of marble that continue up the staircase. The custom iron railing is a unique design created for this home. The iron door features a pattern that is repeated in the exterior courtyard railing and in the breakfast area cabinets.
The stripes on the wall create elegance and give length to the space. The black trim outlines the walls and the staircase.
Under the staircase is an open wine cellar that features two refrigerated wine storage units and enough space for 300 bottles of wine. On the wall is a bio-fuel fireplace.

Robeson Design
Decorative Iron work, Custom Hand Forged Iron screens were used as room divider screens between the Living room and Dining room of this luxury Southern California home. Geometric shapes combine to create a subtle yet striking division between the rooms. Set on top of custom cabinetry, the screens stand 10' off the ground allowing the viewer a subtly look from room to room while creating a sense of privacy within the space.
When Iron work in a home has traditionally been reserved for Spanish or Tuscan style homes, Interior Designer Rebecca Robeson finds a way to incorporate Iron in a new and fresh way using geometric shapes to transition between rooms. Custom welders followed Rebeccas plans meticulously in order to keep the lines clean and sophisticated for a seamless design element in this home.
All staircases and railings in this home share similar linear lines while window embellishments and room divider screens include softer curves to add grace to the geometric shapes.
