Dens & Family Rooms
Revamping your existing basement is an easy way to add value and square footage to your Kansas City home, and for less money than the cost of a room addition. The first part of your basement remodeling project is to inspect the area thoroughly for leaks and potential problem areas. Our experienced remodelers will patch leaks and bolster the structure of your basement, installing moisture barriers and sump pumps if needed. Once the structural concerns are out of the way, we will begin the process of remodeling the floors, walls, and ceiling of your basement.
We can turn your Kansas City basement into a media room, game room, wine cellar, or a guest bedroom. Many unfinished basements offer the same square footage as the main floor, so you’ll have plenty of space to design your extra living area. With the addition of partial walls and finished columns, we can separate your basement into distinct areas, such as a laundry room and a den.

Come down the stairs to this first of two living areas created when finishing this basement. Adding a built-in cabinet with open shelves gave function and beauty to the space. We used louvered doors to help air flow. The floors are luxury vinyl plank and honestly look fabulous!

Broad Branch NW Washington DC Basement remodel. An early 1900's house with a partially finished basement. The space was completely renovated, including turning the garage into an entertainment room with a full surround sound system, and beautiful new windows. A full bathroom was added to the basement with shower, as well as built in shelving for the children to do homework. Overall, a space that was not used for anything other than storage, now has more than 750 sq ft of usable finished space.
