Is that pocket lock door defeatable?

We are looking to divide our hall bath with a pocket lock door to give privacy to toilet/bath area. We were told that you need to be able to one the lock fom the out side in case of emergency. Can you do this with a pocket lock door? I looked at emteck and did not see that aspect in the lock description. Thanks.
