HI Everyone, I have a living room that is 24 feet long and about 12-13 feet long. It is essentially a rectangle. I want to have the choice of separating the space into two areas and to have it more open but still with separate seating areas. Should I have two area rugs in the space 8x10 isn or should I have an area rug encompass the whole space. I want the room to be decorated simply. Oh, the room has wood floors that we want to expose, so we do not want wall to wall carpeting. We live in New England where the style of home is more arts and crafts. We are going with a machine made area rug because we cannot find a reasonably priced 8x10 persian like rug.
