We are getting ready to start a cosmetic remodel on pretty much every part of our new house. I don't have a big budget for the powder room. At minimum, I'd like to change out the lighting fixture. I was looking at this sconce but I'm concerned it is too dim. It is only a 40w bulb, and there is no window in the room. Across the sink is just the toilet and we will hang an over-the-toilet cabinet--it is the pink one in the photo, but it will be repainted to a neutral--probably a dark grey. Also, I was thinking of maybe using a wallpaper, but only on the sink wall. Would you wallpaper in the rounded niche or the whole wall? I attached a wallpaper I am considering, though I haven't seen it in person, and I'm not sure it will go with the cabinet...Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. :)
