I can't blame you. Here in Kansas, we have had a very cool and wet spring so the okra has just been sitting there. However, in the past week, our temps have been in the high 90's and nearly 100 one day. Guess what? My okra has a few flowers AT LAST. Be patient my friend on the plains. Your time is coming.

Boy I hope so, it has been hot as you know what here this past month. Okra normally likes it hot and dry so maybe they will bloom soon. Funny thing is some others I know, just over in TX, have been getting okra since June! I tried a new variety this year, hope that isn't the problem.

My okra hasn't done well this year either. It's just sat there but now after in the ground since the last of
May it's just now blooming. I know it's slow but didn't know it could be this slow. We have high heat and even decent amounts of rain lately.
