I did try that, actually, and also went to lgyp.com, but both of those kick up so many options with so little actual information that there's no way I could narrow down where to go from just that. I probably only have time for one or two places, so . . . well, I'll make a stab-in-the-dark guess if I have to, but I'd rather hear from somebody up there already. Surely there's *somebody*.

Have you ever looked at Target stores?

Ooojen...who's been absent from here of late, has often found some great plants at a Target in Rochester, and I'm thinking if the ones in Rochester have some, the one in MN/SP must have!

If you make it all the way to St Cloud, about 45 mins from the cities, there is a little place called "Balentines" it has the most gorgeous and unusual plants. It is on hwy 23.

Whenever we visit my son in St Paul, we drive by Linder's Garden Center on Larpenteur Ave. We've stopped on occasion. It's big and always crowded during the growing season. They have a website, but don't list houseplants, although I remember seeing some there. If you were to stop in, they could probably send you in the right direction.
