I'm too far away , but I just wanted to say --- I went to a get together with gals that did stained glass. I met them online. There were 12 of us - and mostly all strangers at first ! We met at a central hotel , had a couple vans that we all piled into and drove around to tour local glass factories. We rented rooms and stayed for 2 nights . I swear - it was like seeing van loads of giggly teenagers . That memory will be with me forever . I hope you California gals can meet .... it'll be like a family reunion !

Linda I love the County Fair idea. And it's close to your house. I plan on going to the fair, yah wanna know why ....last year I saw those foot long corn dogs and failed to get one...I have been planning for a year for b/f to take me to fair and get one of those, a mile high of pigglywigglies with melted cheese and a shaker of Sauza Tequila Margarittas. We planned that menu after leaving the fair last year. LOL !!!!!

A good spot to meet is by the Garden Pavilion, perhaps in the wine garden they have there.

Well I am in Southern Calif too in Murrieta Valley, right next to Temecula in Riverside County. It would be fun to meet again. I would love too meet anywhere!! my daughter goes away for a day and night for scrapbooking sleepovers maybe we can do the same and go the Arborateum. If we share hotel rooms it might be affordable.

I am headed to TX to deliver a load of my sons stuff from storage here that I closed out. But will be back by July. Anytime is good for me. I am close enough to go anywhere for day trips or even an overnite trip. Let me know....I will be ready to go. Anywhere to see good stuff and buy a thing or two is fine with me....any category. But hey forget the corndogs....give me a margarita anytime...been a long time since I had one. LOL.

Tio Tacos looks really interesting on their website. I would love to visit it. We could visit maybe have lunch it sounds like it is next door to Mission Inn and that is beautiful. We should pick a day first. Those interesting should send a date.
