Agree, looks like mustard. One of the most reliable greens in our garden. Generally not popular with all the invisible critters that eat up the cole and kale crops.

Taste test , as Farmerdill suggested is a good way to tell.

To be frank I dont know what taste to look for as I have never eaten mustard greens. I however chewed a leave as suggested and I noticed a slight burning sensation on the tongue. Here is a closer pic of a leaf.

I agree, looks like mustard greens to me. I'm not a huge fan of the raw greens, but they add a nice flavour to other cooked greens, like spinach.

I blanched and froze a sink full of assorted mustards last night, and your strain looks like a good one, with thin leaves and crisp ribs. Should be tasty stir-fried and drizzled with a sweet/sour dressing. The raw leaves work well in fruit-veggie smoothies, too. If you pick 3 leaves at a time per plant, you will get at least three harvests from fall mustard.

I like cooking mustard greens with sliced onions and black pepper. I just cook till tender. YUM even the kids will eat them that way.

Growing in cool weather helps with the sweet taste over bitter.

Could it be turnip greens? In my picture I have some mustard (right) growing next to the turnips. The mustard leaves are much smoother. But it could be the specific type of cultivar. Turnip greens are darker green, and rougher leaves.
