HOUSEPLANTSHow to Grow Orchids Indoors
Orchids are the exotic aristocrats of the flower world and can make themselves comfortable in almost any home
Full StoryThe tag on my phal reads (P.Yukimai z Pinlong spring) x Dtps. Casablanca Jey. The plant was neglected during my absence last year but, grew a new leaf out of the side of the original plant. After a while it developed roots. Once the new roots were 2 in.long I potted the new plant up. (The old one died). The 2 leaves of the new plant are now 4" long and, instead of a spike, grew again a new plant with 3 sml leaves. The longest of it being 3in. Both plants look healthy and are growing.
I'm not sure how to proceed from here. Let them grow together and see what happens? None of my Dozen or so phals have ever done this.
Has anyone of you ever seen this kind of phenomena before?
Helga.
