Help to Relocate Mister Head

I need to move a mister head about 18 inches from where it now is located and need to know what supplies I need to purchase and also what to do once I dig up the mister and have it and the attached tubing exposed - ie. what size tubing -what kind of coupler or adhesive, etc. There's no one to do it but me unless I want to pay a ridiculous amount to a landscaper - which I don't! Thanks for any help.

Hi Pat,

I need a small amount of additional information to help you. Is the line that feeds the mister head pvc or poly. Dig it up about 18" from the head and look. Telling us the type of material color is okay and measure the diameter of the pipe line while your at it. Post the info back here. We can write you through this. It is very simple to do. Aloha

Hi Pat:
Just became a member so I hope this info is not to late to help you with your problem? Use flexible 1/2" polypipe. Home improvement stores have it and the fittings to connect it to your sprinkler head and PVC supply line. Also there is a web site (www.no-digllc.com)that sells a "Flexline Adator Kit" for exactly this application. Let me know how things work out or if you have any other questions regarding the installation.
