Possibly "Yak Ban Na" although I've not run across such a name yet.....Petch Ban Na or PBN, sure, I have seeds of PBN just starting to come up now....but not YBN. Where did you see YBN?
Those look cool--have never seen a caudex written on with (I assume) marker--I hope it washes off! Sure, yak = giant in Thai, petch = diamond, muang = purple, daeng = red....I'm slowly learning Thai as I hope to visit sometime this winter to escape winter. Hopefully will visit some adenium growers while I'm there.
I went to Thailand 5 years ago and loved it very much. I didn't have a chance to visit any adenium nursery. I hope to go back soon and have an opportunity to visit adenium nursery.
Returning home from Australia in 2005 we spent 5 days on a beautiful side trip to Thailand and during a visit to The Grand Palace in Bangkok I saw my first ever DR. At the time I had no idea what it was and had my picture ID'd on the plumeria forum. As a result I have been well and truly hooked on them ever since! I too would love to return to Thailand and visit one of those specialist nurseries. Gill UK
