Has anyone tried this tree? It appears to be a "freemanlike" maple but classfied as an A. rubrum. The pyramidal form seems that it would eliminate some of the issues of typical Freeman maples. Appears to be heat tolerant so should do OK here. From the pics it's an attractive tree w/good and relatively early fall color.
Might be worth a try. The patent writeup suggests it "could" have A x freemanii influence. If I had to guess it might be þ A. rubrum & ü A. saccharinum.
However...I haven't found a source for it.
Who has tried this tree, and where did you get it?
