I'm told there is a yellow mutabilis. Here mutabilis blooms for 10 months, loves heat (I don't know about humidity, but it is a rose from China, so it might like that), and is bullet proof. Look it up on HMF and see what you think.

I don't know how 'The Pilgrim' does in heat and humidity; I just wanted to say that I think it's a very beautiful rose. Be aware that it has a myrrh fragrance. I like that scent, but some people think it smells bad.
Good luck in your rose search! Have you considered any of the yellow Teas or Tea-Noisettes (though the latter can get very large)? My "Bermuda's Anna Olivier" is a most stupendous rose, very healthy, exquisite flowers. Again, I don't know how it would do in your conditions. I also like Jackie's idea of 'Yellow Mutabilis'.

Lady Hillingdon is another possibility if you would consider a tea. It has very interesting dark red new foliage and dark green leaves, which conrtast well with the apricot-yellow flowers. I don't know how it would grow in Florida, but I believe that Teas do well.

What about Isabella Sprunt? It is the yellow color sport of Safrano. Not a dark yellow, but a very bloom happy and healthy tea.

I grow two yellow Tea roses, Bermuda's Anna Olivier which has large, fat blooms even in summer and Alexander Hill Gray with smaller flowers that are a tad deeper yellow than BAM. If you have room for a climber there, Duchesse d'Auerstadt is a great egg yolk color with lots of petals. I don't grow Mutabilis, but I think it's a very impressive rose but BIG.

I second 'Isabella Sprunt': pure lemon yellow and beautiful.

I don't have it, but I've heard great things on Marechal Niel. It's another lemon-yellow climber that supposedly loves the Southeast.
