Hi Pauline, I have added WS2000 to my list. I saw a pretty new thread on it and it looks sooooo pretty. I don't really like red and it looks like most of the red english roses might really be that crimson color but I wanted to make sure so I don't get stuck with a red one. Thanks for responding. I hope you are doing well Pauline. My ivy leaf geraniums have done very well thanks to your enabling. I love them. They take the hot, hot afternoon Georgia sun so good. They hold their pretty little heads up almost like their telling the sun "give me all ya got". Thanks again, Judy

For me The Squire starts out red but ages to a burgundy (looks like red wine). i can't find any picts on the internet that shows the burgundy color. Maybe it's just my growing conditions. It's usually a pretty heavy bloomer, vigorous, and winter hardy. The only things I don't like about it is it's very thorny (like a rugosa) and will get BS (but almost everything else does anyway).

The Prince is purple. It is a smaller Austin rose that only gets about two feet high. It's one of my favorite purple roses and one of the few that is really dark purple and not red. There's a new Austin called Mustead Wood that is on the purple end of red. I don't have it but I think there are some pictures on one of the galleries.
