Bought Aristolochia Gigantea brasiliensis and Calico vine starter plants online last Summer and they are doing well so far. I planted both on a trellis where they get afternoon shade. The Giant Barsiliensis is doing very well with lots of offshoots but no flowers yet. The Calico vine is doing fine but only has one 8 foot long shoot with offshoots just barely starting to show. Protected it during the freeze the other week. If anybody else is growing these vines please share your experience. When I got them as foot long starters they took the full August sun until about 2pm with no wilting or stunting of growth. I acclimated them for all of June first though.
