Query for those who use plastic milk containers

If you use plastic milk containers for WS seedstarting do you attempt to remove the labels?

I'm not sure it is important for my experiments but I tried to remove the labels from a couple of gallon plastic containers and found it to be quite difficult. Soap and water, heat gun and WD-40 all failed.

No, I don't bother. There's really no need to remove them, IMO. It would just be extra work. Often they fall off by spring anyway.

Me neither. I just usually have my jugs setting so close to each other that you cannot see the label.

No need to remove them, although I do pull them off if they're the plastic coated labels and if they pull off easy enough. I don't worry about the paper labels. They fall off by Spring and they're biodegradable anyway.

I have always removed the labels. This is my fourth year and I've decided not to bother. I'm soooo much more relaxed about winter sowing than that first year when I worried about not doing it just right.

As others, I leave them on. They'll fall off on their own.
