I have found that a fence is not a real deterant to rabbits unless you dig down 3' and bury the bottom part of the fence. An adult rabbit can stretch up 3-4', all rabbits dig. I have a fence around my garden and there were some low spots under the fence. I filled them in with dirt but the rabbits found the soft earth and dug down and into the garden, guess I should have filled in with rocks. The fencing I used does seem to work but I forget what it is called, it has smaller holes at the bottom and they get bigger higher up. The fence we have is 5'. My flower beds are another matter. The rabbits made regular visits to them (We weren't here all the time until we retired). We have 2 dogs who love to chase the rabbits. I still have nightly visits but not to much. Good luck. Marg
