You planted this as grown plants? It should have given at least 1 bloom. Did you perhaps used too much fertilizers? If high in nitrogen, then you will get good foliage but no flowers.

It should get back to normal by next season.

Sometimes perennials take two years to produce their first blooms. As long as the plants look healthy, I wouldn't be concerned.
