Water thoroughly once a week. Even though it occurs in a remote and seemingly arid region , remember that the area does get winter moisture and summer monsoons. But high humidity may not be something it will like though it is tolerant of seasonal temperature extremes. So a sunny and exposed situation in your area may be ideal. Probably best kept in the container on a bench.
Would provide a link with more pertinent info but I cannot believe that there seems to be nothing but the redundant link about the forest grooves up in the mountains. Not much help in those.

@terrestrial_man :: Thanks for responding! I really couldn't find much of anything on potted pine trees, much less the bristlecone...every article has been on potted christmas trees. So long story short, I appreciate the info you provided.
