Is it in the ground or in a pot? Don't make it overcomplicated. 8-2-6 is the same proportions as 4-1-3, just twice as strong. There are organic citrus fertilizers out there, too. The advantage of an organic is that you don't run the risk of fertilizer "burn." Think of feeding the soil, not feeding the plant. If you create healthy soil, you can have a healthy plant. If you notice any deficiencies, which you can tell by the pattern of yellowing on the leaves, you can treat then appropriately. Otherwise, fertilizer 4 times a year should be sufficient. If you live in the right climate zone, it's not that hard. It becomes difficult to grow citrus if you're trying to grow it where it's too cold or too wet.
