Oh boy. I am such a football fan, but have to think on this a bit. I do have a thought, but not sure. It makes sense considering the Sept. 11 reference. I will ask DH. Thinking a former AF pilot might be able to confirm or dismiss my idea. If it is what I think it is/was a favorite part of the celebration despite the ease of missing it if you blinked!

Wasn't there a movie about this?? Pretty sure that I know. And yes, I'm sure that it is a 9/11 thing. It was a very large part of the show, but it disappeared very quietly.

Keep forgetting about the trivia on the weekends. Yeah there was a movie made that revolved around this. All 3 were used in making the movie B.S. .

As I was asking DH, I realized that my thought of a military flyover didn't make sense since most SBs are in domes now. Then I thought of fireworks and just now, I am thinking that maybe the President used to go and now he doesn't for security reasons. ?????

Anyway, getting ready to watch. Will try to check back later. Anyone else have hints?

It's the GB, the Goodyear blimp over the Ohio State Stadium. Homeland Security has designated the airspace around the Super Bowl as a no-fly zone during the game.

I think you all ended up getting this, so for Cynthia, Plantlady, Greylady, Nancy, and Annette. Did I get everyone?
