Doubtful. A. attenuata is really quite fussy in that any number of barely significant issues might cause a little leaf acne. Unless it starts getting out of hand, I'd consider it business as usual, i.e. normal.

Hard Agave to overwater... but leaves are touchy... mine spotted like that when it got a frost on it. Also had a somewhat similar pattern from a light hail storm. But as far as water goes, these drink up what you get them... they live happily in Hawaii where sometimes inches can fall on them daily.

Do you ever fertilize your plants? I've had several predecessors to this one and none have given me any problems whatsoever. I have a few babies that I want to flourish and I will start bringing them in for the winter.

can't say I have ever fertilized an Agave⦠at least not on purpose (might have sprayed a few with Miracle Grow while fertilizing other things). Not sure mine have ever needed any
