No foliar sprays or rain. In fact, we are starting to dry out here after a very rainy summer.

You can keep bumping this up; but my guess is we just don't know with the info you have given us. My best guess would be something like a snail or slug. If it were mine I would just snip off those leaves and concentrate on the rest of the tree.

If you have not treated it with a systemic insecticide and a systemic fungicide, I would recommend that.

Mine seemed to attract spiders and stink bugs, and I've seen a few leaf issues, but not worried. More concerned about scale over winter (inside).
