The Stick (tomato) is back, how are your tomatoes doing?

Hi all, I had some old Stick tomato seeds stuck in the back of the refrigerator and at the end of December I checked to see if they were still good and found they are :-)

The Stick is by far the strangest tomato I have grown.

It will keep growing to 5 feet tall or so and will look much like the start above. The fruit are small round red and look normal. They taste ok too.

Just let me know if anyone wants some seeds.

On a different note - how are your tomatoes doing? It has been one long cold winter up here near Orlando. My other tomatoes are starting to out grow their oversize starting pots. I had to plant 9 this morning, sure hope we are done with the freezes!

In the garden today are: Two Arkansas Travellers, one Bloody Butcher, two Early Girls, Two Red Cheery and two Jet Stars.

My little tomatoes are about 6" high and doing well. I have Galina, Margo, Champion II, Shanty, Black Prince and Sun King from seed. The first four are white-fly resistant and the others WTH.

I broke down at HDepot and bought 1 each Patio and Yellow cherries with blossoms and embryo tomatoes. Like puppies in the window cannot resist.

I've liked Bloody Butcher in the past, very prolific but the d*** whitefly devastates. Hoping this winter took out their colony.

What a gorgeous day it is today! Spring is near.

Oh I would love some of those stick tomatoes!! I have yard long asparagus bean seeds, about a dozen -ish to trade.

I have two watermelon seeds with oranged meat inside ["Orange Tendersweet"].

I spilled the package and I didnt see them. When I finially noticed them, all but two were wet, so I stuck them in a plastic shoe box with my potting mix ..I had 100% germination.
I have been giving them to any one that wants seedlings. There were two left in my envelope.

I grow in buckets My version of a self watering set up and EVERYthing looks good.

I tried to send the seeds with the email right where it said 'attatchment' but it left the on the counter. So I will send them snail mail. lol just kidding. [I said once before and they took me serious and gave me an explanation on emailing]

That's funny ;-) if we could perfect that we would really have something.

I will be sending out the seeds to all the addresses I have this week.

How are bananas propagated? That is one plant I really want to try and grow but it's been too cold up here to think much about them.
