Free Recycled Plastic Pots

I recently discovered that the labels on Chobani Greek Yogurt cups are not printed directly on the cups, but on a skin-tight plastic sleeve that covers the cup. This sleeve is easily slit and removed, leaving a clean white cup. After using a torch-heated nail to make drainage holes, I find these cups to be just the right size for smaller streps and AVs, and for rooting strep leaves, and they look good, too.

I'm one of the few apparently who can't stomach the Greek yogurt. I couldn't eat it, not even for free pots, LOL. But I know that my sister buys it all the time so thanks for the tip! I will ask her to save the empty containers for me. I wouldn't have known to do so except for your post - thanks! :-)

It's amazing how many plastic items can be recycled. Coffee can lids, yogurt lids and cottage cheese lids all make good saucers. I reuse the styrofoam boxes that mushrooms come in for seeds. It is so easy to punch holes in the bottom of them.
