My concern is the hardiness of many of these cultivars. Grace and Liz's stuff in particular can be problematic here. Anyone care to comment on specific cultivars?

All of these are on a PowerPoint that I've presented at several meetings. I always preface the program by saying that I can't vouch for their hardiness in other zones, but that these do fine in my garden. There have been some that didn't thrive here and they were sent to a friend in zone 8. But I was extremely surprised this summer when presenting the program at the Region 9 meeting that several people spoke up when I mentioned some of the questionable ones (like 'Blue Oasis') and people like Sabine Baur, who lives in Denver, spoke up and said they grew quite a few of these and they did well. Denver is zone 5 I believe! It depends on the garden, where it is planted in the garden, snow cover,minimum winter temps. and other factors!

Well, I think these are great--I especially love Green Rainbow, Night Dreams, Star Child and Stella's Ruffled Fingers. Avedon
