i think a small one died from lack of vigor ....

if you can get a larger plant.. site it properly.. and go for it ...

if you dont want the WORRY of dealing with it... skip it

IMHO ... all of those type plants are not worth a LOT of money ... if it is cheap.. its a nice novelty ... but it is just another green hosta.. most of the year ...

I like mine - it somes up creamy white and is quite an eyecatcher. After a month or so it goes through a period of time when the leaves seem to look ratty, then it clears up and spends the rest of the summer as a very light green hosta. I've only had it for a couple of years, and I planted it in lots of shade, but not much extra water, and it seems to be doing all right - will take pictures this year - I forgotlast year.

I have been growing hostas for many years in my woodland garden.To me one of the eaisiest plants to grow is the hosta.I recently became aware of a hosta called white feather and I understand that there might be some problems with growing it.Can someone inform me as to the proper method for growing it or should I even consider it?
