I gave my Trumpet Plant a severe pruning in September and didn't take the time to clean up all the debris but left quite a bit of it for later. Yesterday, I finally got around to cleaning up and found this. This branch was about two inches thick, yet it started growing roots and sprouted another plant! I think Mother Nature is amazing!

Reminds me of our hearty plumeria here, they'll do the same thing and actually flower just laying there as a stick!

You've learned the secret of making successful cuttings.
Ignore them lol. Now if you try to get it to sprout it will die instantly lol
I found the secret to getting palm seeds to sprout. Carefully pot them up, fuss over them for weeks give up in disgust and throw it in the compost pile . You'll have sprouts within days!!lol gary
