I think the people in the know will want to KNOW what your zone is?

My Victory is growing in a pot in the absolute hottest place in our yard. I'm hoping to move it into a shadier part of the garden once it outgrows the pot it's in.

So, I know it can take a ton of sun. If you put it in the bed that gets little direct sun, it will grow a lot slower.

Put it in the morning sun spot. It's a sport of nigresens Elatior so it should take it fine. Just make sure you put it in a spot where you will not need to move it later. When it gets big, it gets really big.

Mine is waiting for the tree to give it some shade. So far that's not happening

I have mine in a spot where it gets hot midday sun... from about 9:30 am till about 1:30 pm.

It's quite thankful for that sun and rewards me with good growth. But it also will let me know if I'm not watering it enough.

Remember, if you're going to give 'em lots of sun, you have to give 'em lots of water!
