the hummers are very active today around my feeder. I have four feeders two window and two hanging. They visit all the feeders, but their favorite remains to be the perky pet half-round 8oz. I have to refill it every day to day and a half. With this kind of feeder you cant seem to fill it full no matter how hard you try and it has clips that hold the base to the bottle but they are made of plastic and break , which one side has done three times, which ive had to super glue back. Needless to say I no longer let the clips snap into place, it is secure without that. Perky pet needs to rubberize that part of feeder which I have told them about. Next summer If I continue with this kind of feeder which the hummers like, it will be the 12oz size. As I said the hummers are unusually active for the middle of the day, there seems to be about 8 dive bombing the feeders. Not sure if this is indication of what is to come or not.
