Can anyone tell my why my portlandia doesn't bloom? It is over 5 years old, gets plenty of water and fertilizer and 6 hours of sun.

I understand that they are fussy about their soil and fertlilzer. Is it in a pot or the ground? If it is in the ground you may want to test your soil.

I did some research and found it like alkaline soil, so I'll pick up some lime next trip out.
