Morning all!

I just got an email from Eric, where I'd asked him about planting trees for Vlad.

There isn't any particularly special organization. Although, Vlad did do the National Arbor Day thing where they send you trees. They did well for him, and I actually have the now 8' tall Red Maple here in my yard.

A friend of his has already had $500's worth of trees planted in Vlad's name in San Diego.

I think the idea of Vlad being all over the place in the form of trees is a wonderful thought. So we could do it together, or we could each plant one with an organization or garden we prefer, or? We could all plant one or more on our own property.

I'm willing to contribute if there does happen to be a group tree. :)

Heifer International, in addition to giving animals to families in need all over the world, does tree planting, too. That's how I'll do my trees.

Oh, I like that.
I've heard of them. They're making huge differences one family, one cow at a time.

I was actually thinking of the Humane Society, too, since they rescued Ivan and their wonderful dog when they moved out there.

Thanks for the post Christine! I`m glad to hear that the dates no longer conflict. The tree planting ideas are fantastic. I`d like to look into planting one in his hometown. I`ll call you when I get back into town in a couple of weeks about carpooling to Aquasco for a spruce up. I live over the border in MD from the DC line in Montgomery county.
