I live in Florida and we are having the same dilemma they do not even know what it is!

If there are any feed stores around, you can get some there.

If not, you can probably find some at the grocery store, although it may be more expensive in those quantities. Maybe stores like Sam's or Costco?

Viche, what county do you live in? I get most of my organics from Bowens in Annapolis, and my local Southern States Farmers coop in Anne Arundel Co. If they can get it they will order it for you.

Yep, just ask for corn meal, or alfalfa pellets or soybean meal, whichever grains you're looking for.

I have purchased alfalfa pellets and cracked corn at the Tractor Supply Company (TSC) in Leesburg VA. I checked their website (www.mytscstore.com) and I see that they have a couple stores in Maryland.

What's the difference between corn meal and cracked corn?

Not sure where you are in MD, but in Lancaster County, PA just north of the border all the Stauffer's of Kissel Hill stores carry corn meal and Organic Approach does, too. Keep up the noise at your garden centers. SKH finally got with the program after several "what is it you said you wanted?" stares. This is my third year using corn meal and I love it. It doesn't take care of every "weed", however, it makes the job easier. It's the best of all worlds when this stuff won't ruin the water table any more than it is, the kids could practically eat it, and of course, the weed control.

I know I'll probably get flamed for not searching this in the forums, but does all corn meal contain CGM? Your comment suggests that is does.

Anyone know the answer to the question above? Does cornmeal contain CGM? If so I need to be careful when using it in areas that I'm seeding or sodding right?
