Vermicomposting

asking hubby for a bin for Mother's day. Which one should I get?

I have started collecting food and paper for a small bin.

However, I can see I won't be happy with a tiny bin in the garage. I want a larger stackable one. I saw one at Target last year on clearance after the summer and could kick myself for not getting it then!!

What one would you ask for?

I have found some on the net, worm factory, can o worms, Gusanito-Wormswrangler and others.

Any suggestions?

The lower the price the more chance hubby will get it for me :)

suggestions are welcome!

I could ask hubby to make one but we have an HOA and they may get mad if it is outside.

If you want to go cheap, you can make your own stacking system out of Rubbermaid tubs. It will cost you about 1/3 what a commercially made bin will cost.

That new version of the worm factory looks pretty for stackable. But the Worm Inn sounds better to me (except for possible less durability but were you going to vermicompost for the next 20 years?) Have hubby make you a super sturdy stand designed built around it. But you might want to try a tiny bin first to see if you even like worming. Or worms and other creatures.
